Since 1973, Mountain Promotions (formerly known as Mount'n Screenery, Inc.) has been providing high quality screen printed and embroidered garments and other promotional accessories. We have grown from a small hobby business operated out of a garage, to a fully staffed and equipped promotional products provider.
Conveniently located in downtown Oostburg,Wisconsin, Mountain Promotions easily serves Sheboygan County, the Wisconsin Lakeshore and much of Southeast Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Green Bay and the surrounding areas.
Over the years our reputation for big city service at the small town price has spread across the country. Mountain Promotions has produced screen printed and embroidered goods for businesses, schools, churches, and other groups located in such places as Tampa Bay, Chicago, New York, Portland, Houston and Omaha.
For over 35 years Mountain Promotions has been providing quality custom printed T-shirts and apparel to schools, sport teams, families and businesses. We have provided shirts for many a family reunion, sporting event, company picnic and fundraiser. We have outfitted numerous sport teams, from volleyball to soccer, football to baseball, track to wrestling and every sport in between. We have helped raise school spirit by providing T-shirts for booster clubs, classtrips, bands and drama clubs, and outfitting the fans when local teams havegone to state tournaments.
Mountain Promotions was originally founded in 1973 by Jon Behling and his wife Linda as Mount'n Screenery. Jon had recently graduated from the UW-Milwaukee art program and was realizing that his discovered love of screen printing could be turned into a viable business. After starting in Milwaukee, the Behlings soon moved the business to Oostburg working out of a small building next to the family home. In 1991 the business moved into its current location in downtown Oostburg.
In 2009 Mountain Promotions underwent a major face lift, completely renovating its customer service area and office space in addition to significant modifications and an expansion of the production area. In order to improve its eco-footprint Mountain Promotions installed energy efficient lighting throughout the entire building. Additional windows were also installed to improve heating and cooling efficiency. At this time the screen printing staff was able to eliminate the use of an aerosol adhesive spray in its daily production implementing a new double sided table tape in its place.
The renovation also expanded production space making room for newly acquired embroidery equipment. For the first time in its history, Mountain Promotions began to complete all embroidery orders in-house. In the Spring of 2010, additional embroidery equipment was purchased, tripling its production capacity.
